Jack Yu, MD

Dr. Yu was born in Taiwan and grew up in Seattle. After graduating from Stanford University, he attended Boston University for medical school, then completed his Family Medicine Residency training at UCLA. Prior to joining the faculty of Adventist Health Glendale’s Family Medicine Residency Program in 1990, he worked in private practice, emergency rooms, Kaiser and group practices. 
Dr. Yu has a Master’s Degree in Medical Education and completed a Faculty Development Fellowship at USC. He does OB and is also board certified in Sports Medicine, Geriatrics, Hospice and Palliative Medicine. His research interests include Obstetrics in the Asian population and Point of Care ultrasound. 
 
His wife is an administrator for a child evangelism fellowship and has two grown daughters. One is a medical student, soon to be Resident, and the other is a statistician for Disney Studios and Disney+. In his free time, Dr. Yu teaches elementary children at his church, organizes the hospital basketball team, and hosts resident wellness events at his home.
